Morphology
Root:Fibrous roots.
Stem:The plant height is 20~40 cm, the stems and branches are straight, smooth and multi-branched.
Leaf:Single leaves opposite, lanceolate-elliptical.
Flower:Ermaphrodite flowers, spike-like inflorescence, shaped like a bird's tail, orange, superior ovary, two-chambered ovary,axial placenta.
Seed:Oval in shape, can be spread by wind.
Fruit:Capsule, dorsally split into 2 segments when ripe.

The suitable temperature for seed germination is about 21~30°C, and it will germinate after about 15~28 days.
